Group 7's Sketch Express! is a game where players make randomized collaborative drawings. A player starts by making a scribble. The second player uses that scribble to draw a randomly generated prompt. There’s quite a few prompts, divided into categories ranging from pop culture to food that the player may choose from. The prompt itself is randomly chosen. While that player draws, the scribbler must guess what prompt they have. So, the game has two elements: Finishing a drawing using the limitation of two randomized components and guessing. (This is also how points are awarded.) Our target audience was ages 6-12, playable by two people. It appeals to artist types. It’s a drawing game but it doesn’t require any actual skill. If anything, wonky drawings make the game more fun.
